What: 3 Course Dinner --- Choice of either pre-fixe 

 A) Vegan Ramen

 B) Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen

Where:        Grand Central Palm Springs Restaurant & Bar, 160 La Plaza

Cost: $28 (includes tax but not tip)

Please join us for a 3 course pre-fixe ramen noodles Saturday, January 11th between 5PM and 9PM.  Seating is on the half hour.  An evening of food, drink and education at Grand Central Palm Springs Restaurant & Bar. 

We offer two kinds of broths, Vegan and Black Garlic Tonkotsu. Because this is a pop-up restaurant, we will need to know your preference 72 hours prior to the event. Please email us (info@WabiSabiJapanLiving.com) your preference of either A) Vegan or B) Black Garlic Tonkotsu by Wed 1/8/19 (or the day you book if after 1/8/19). $28 includes tax but not tip. 

A little bit about the Vegan broth... It's a creamy vegetable broth base with soy milk, miso and sesame. It is truly scrumptious. 

When you arrive at Grand Central Palm Springs please get a drink and come back to the events room where we will be located.    Ample parking.

“Our recipes were developed over time spent in Japan eating at local places.  We're foodies but not in the Michelin sense but more of the Anthony Bourdain way.  Religiously we visit Yakitori Alley of Shinjuku and Shimbashi and we visit the Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki street vendors in and around Tsukiji market.  We eat Ramen from Hokkaido to Kyushu and have a great appreciation for the varieties and methods.  But we also make a point of knowing the best Ramen places in So Cal.  To perfect our recipes, we practice over and over while reaching out to friends and family back in Japan until we get it just right.  The recipes are the culmination of 10+ years spent exploring, eating, and learning."

Why did we create Grand Central? Community table

Palm Springs is an inviting community and quickly takes in new comers no matter how long or short a stay. We wanted to be a meeting place for family, friends, residents and visitors to come together and enjoy exciting food and drink.  We wanted to be a place that people will take time to be with each other. Our families spent many wonderful times seated at kitchen and dining room tables surrounded by relatives and friends. Nourishment came from wonderful meals and shared community!  

Why the name Grand Central?

In cities and train stations throughout the years, people have been meeting “under the clock”.  Grand Central’s iconic clock is a reminder to take a breath; to take some time; to relax and enjoy innovative food and drink at our table.  Be with family and friends  - put down your devices and talk.
